Wind Rock Ridge Art Gallery

Wind Rock Ridge Art Gallery is the art studio of Shelley Leach. In 2023, I opened a public studio and then expanded to include an adjoining gallery in 2024. This summer, I will be hosting special events and outdoor workshops at the studio based on the theme "Where Art and Nature Converge". 

Additionally, I'm working at an artist-in-residence from June to mid-October and will be working on a new body of artwork in Addington Highlands, Ontario.

This summer as I work at this artists residency I was invited to be part of I'm hosting outdoor workshops that are open to everyone, and are intended to provide a deeper understanding of the art and the artist.  Participants are part of the process, alongside the artist in the field. 

In the winter, the focus of my studio and gallery is the inner workings of an artist's studio and its importance. 

Ever wonder what inspired that painting or the work of art being created in studio? Where do artists find inspiration?

August 4th I'm hosting a Fungi Forest Walk with Think Fungi www.thinkfungi.org  this should be especially interesting. You can find out about these events on the events page.  

Part of this summer is finding new inspiration to create a new body of artwork. I'll be outdoors more than indoors.
